Tuta review
We read the pricing page, the product pages and the published language set, and bought no plan.

We read the pricing page and the product pages on Tuta’s own site, on .
Tuta does not sell a mailbox; it sells a decision: that what you write stays encrypted even from Tuta itself. Anyone who needs that really needs it, and anyone who does not will find everything else here narrower than they are used to.
The price of the decision is written down: Tuta encrypts messages end to end, which is why its mailbox has no IMAP and cannot be opened by Outlook, Thunderbird or your phone’s own mail app There is no Arabic anywhere, and no migration tool to bring your old archive across.
How this review was built
We bought no plan. Mail delivery speed and uptime are out of the score for that reason. The score rests on four criteria readable on the company’s own pages: price and billing, Arabic and the mail interface, what the mailbox gives you, and support availability.
We read the pricing page, the product pages and the language set it publishes, then its support pages.
The price is worked out for a team of five mailboxes rather than one.
There is no buyer-reports chapter here. We opened no reports this round.
Buying and price
5.6
Basis: the company’s own pages · weight 25%
The price is {entry} a month for a team of five mailboxes, a reasonable figure for what it provides.
One line in it changes the arithmetic for every team: Tuta charges for a shared mailbox at the same rate as a user, so a mailbox named after a department costs what an employee costs Anyone wanting an address for enquiries, another for sales and a third for invoices pays for them as they pay for employees.
There is no renewal price on the page, no published refund window, and no monthly billing named on the business tier.
Tuta’s free plan is for individuals on Tuta’s own domain, not for a mailbox carrying your company’s name. It is not a door into what we are discussing here.

We read Tuta’s pages and its published language set and found no Arabic in either, nor in its support pages
We read two of the four places and both answer no. The other two — the mail interface’s language and the mailbox’s reading direction — we did not reach, and we will not write an answer we did not see.
One note belongs specifically to an encrypted product: searching inside encrypted mail runs on your own device rather than on the company’s servers, and how that search behaves with Arabic text is a question we did not test and cannot answer.
Anyone building a team that writes in Arabic should try it themselves before committing.

What you get is built around one idea: end-to-end encryption on mail, calendar and contacts, with your own domain, reasonable storage, aliases and an admin console.
Three things teams use daily are missing: Tuta encrypts messages end to end, which is why its mailbox has no IMAP and cannot be opened by Outlook, Thunderbird or your phone’s own mail app There is no migration tool to bring your archive from a previous provider, and no office applications.
These are not faults in the usual sense but consequences: mail nobody can read cannot be handed to a program that has no key. The page says so, and we count it under what you get because that is what this criterion measures.

One channel, a ticket queue, with no published working hours. Anyone wanting chat or a phone line finds neither.
There is no published refund window and no renewal price. Those four things together put the support score here among the lower ones on this page.
Anyone buying here is buying a technology rather than a service, and handling it themselves.

Speed and uptime: we did not measure them
We did not measure mail delivery speed or uptime, and bought no plan.
We did not settle the mail interface’s language, the mailbox’s reading direction, or how search behaves with Arabic text, and opened no buyer reports. What we did not check is written here.
What changes in your day when nobody can read your mail
End-to-end encryption is not a feature added on but a decision that changes working habits. This chapter is about those habits, because the four criteria do not describe them.
The first is that search runs on your own device rather than on the company’s servers, because the company holds no text to search. So searching a large archive depends on your machine, and neither its speed nor its behaviour with Arabic text is something we know.
The second is that any outside tool you would connect to your mail will not work: no customer relationship tools, no signature tools, no third-party archiving. Anyone who built their work on those builds again.
The third is that an employee who leaves takes their key with them. Handing a former employee’s mailbox to a colleague is not the simple administrative act it is elsewhere, and that is a question worth asking before the hire rather than after it.
The fourth is published in the company’s own words: it asks you to write to it in English or German. The language barrier here is stated rather than inferred.

If not this one, then what
Both picks are computed from the scores rather than written by hand: the first is the one directly above it in the ranking, the second the one that beats it by the widest margin on the criterion it loses on.

Bottom line
A team handling sensitive information that accepts working inside one application finds at Tuta what the rest of this page does not give: mail the company hosting it cannot read.
Anyone working from Outlook, moving years of archive, or writing in Arabic and wanting to be understood, is holding the wrong tool.
Questions
Can I use Outlook with Tuta?
No. End-to-end encryption means there is no IMAP, so mail is read inside Tuta’s own application only.
What does an address like info@ cost?
The same as a user. Tuta charges for a shared mailbox at the per-user rate.
Does it support Arabic?
We found no Arabic in its published language set or its support pages. The mail interface and how search behaves with Arabic we did not test.
Can I connect my mail to other tools?
No. The absence of IMAP means outside tools cannot reach the mailbox, and that is a consequence of the encryption rather than an oversight.
What language should I write to support in?
The company asks on its support page that you write in English or German, and repeats it for all three of its addresses.
