GoDaddy Website Builder review

We tried to read the page three times, bought no plan, and reached no figure.

We tried to read the website-builder page on GoDaddy’s own site, on .

GoDaddy’s score here is provisional, with two criteria of four outside it. That is not a judgement on the product but a description of what we could read: We opened GoDaddy’s website-builder page three times and not one price card rendered; no figure on it is readable without JavaScript

What stayed readable gives a reasonable picture. There is a free tier, the domain is free for a year, and the phone line is open around the clock. The rest is a gap in our record rather than in the product.

How this review was built

We bought no plan. Speed and uptime are out of the score for that reason.

The score rests on four criteria: price and billing, Arabic and right-to-left support, published features, and support availability. Two of them were not read this round, so they leave the calculation and their weight is re-scaled onto the two that remain. That is what the word provisional means on this page.

There is no buyer-reports chapter here. We opened no reports this round.

Buying and price

Not yet checked

Basis: the company’s own pages · weight 25% leaves the score and is re-scaled onto the rest

This criterion is out of the score because we read no figure at all.

The page is assembled in the browser, so what the server sends carries no price. Three attempts ended before the cards painted, and a plain request for the page from this machine is refused.

Even what does appear once the cards paint leaves out the figure that matters: The domain is given free for the first year, and we found no second-year price on the page that makes the offer

So a reader who wants to know what they pay today and what they pay after a year finds no answer on the page selling to them. That alone is reason enough to wait.

Arabic and right-to-left

Not yet checked

Basis: the company’s own pages · weight 20% leaves the score and is re-scaled onto the rest

This criterion is out of the score too, for the same reason.

This round never reached GoDaddy’s interface-language list for the editor, nor a published sentence about right-to-left support, nor Arabic templates, nor the language its support runs in.

We will not write a zero where we read nothing. A company’s pages in Arabic are one thing and the editor interface is another, and confusing the two is how platforms ended up on ready-for-Arabic lists without being ready for Arabic.

What you are reading is a gap in our record, not a verdict on the platform. Anyone building an Arabic site should open the editor themselves before paying.

Published features

7.0

Basis: the company’s own pages · weight 35%

What you get: {feats} of the items we count, with a free tier, a domain for the first year, your own domain connected, search tools, analytics, a store and an AI builder.

What is missing: no published renewal line, and no app store.

One confusion is worth naming here: The page is titled GoDaddy Website Builder while the product itself now goes by Airo, so the two names run together on the same page So comparisons you find under the old name may be describing a product that has changed.

Support availability

4.0

Basis: the company’s own pages · weight 20%

The phone runs around the clock, and that is one channel. Anyone who would rather type than call finds no live chat and no ticket queue published on this page.

We find no refund guarantee with a published number of days, so nothing entered the score on that side.

One channel that never closes beats three that keep office hours, but it is still one.

Speed and uptime: we did not measure them

We did not measure the speed or uptime of a site built here, and bought no plan.

We read no price, did not settle the editor’s interface language, and opened no buyer reports. Those are three gaps, written here instead of filled with a guess.

If not this one, then what

Both picks are computed from the scores rather than written by hand: the first is the one directly above it in the ranking, the second the one that beats it by the widest margin on the criterion it loses on.

The service directly above it in the ranking.

Bottom line

This page is less a verdict on GoDaddy than a report on what a buyer can learn before paying, and the answer here is: less than elsewhere.

Anyone who wants to compare before buying should start with a platform that writes its price and its renewal on the same card. Anyone who has chosen GoDaddy for another reason should call and ask for both figures before opening their wallet.

Questions

Why is the score provisional?

Because two criteria of four were not read: price and Arabic. They leave the calculation, their weight is re-scaled, and the page says so rather than guessing.

What does GoDaddy Website Builder cost?

We do not know. Not one price card rendered on its page in three attempts, and the server sends no readable figure.

Is the editor available in Arabic?

We did not settle it. We never reached the interface-language list, and a company having Arabic pages does not mean its editor is in Arabic.

What we know, and where from

Every figure on this page, where it came from and when we read it.
